Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in a big way on Tuesday night -- to say the least! The musically gifted duo renewed their vows at Disneyland in a lavish ceremony fit for a prince and a princess. Mariah initially tweeted that the park was shut down for the renewals, writing, "On our way to renew our vows. I love you @NickCannon shut down Disneyland KKLB." But Disneyland PR rep George Savvas has since refuted that the couple actually closed the park and rather it was "an after-hours private party, which we have been doing here for 50 years. No Disney park guests were inconvenienced in any way, as the park was closed before this private event began."
The "American Idol" judge documented each beautiful moment of the day -- which also marked the second birthday of their twins -- via social media, starting with a post to Twitter that said, "Happy 5th(!!!!!!!) Anniversary to the Best Husband in All The Land & 2 years ago pon de delivery room=luckiest Mommy in The WORLD! #HappyBirthdayDemBabies! #iluvroc&roe!!!! Just felt like tweeting you before sunset on #4:30." At the ceremony, the bride wore a gorgeous white gown and made a "grand entrance" to the castle in a pumpkin carriage with daughter Monroe. Meanwhile, her hubby and son, Moroccan, stood waiting dressed in Prince Charming outfits..
If that wasn't exquisite enough, Nick gifted his special lady one of the most sparkly gifts we've ever seen -- a enormous chandelier -- which Mariah gushed about on Twitter, saying "Happy Anniversary from my Husband to me!!!!#4/30 #Grateful!!!"
If this is their fifth anniversary, we can only imagine what will happen on their 50th!
