I [heart] Lush

I went to Lush Helsinki yesterday where they held a small event for bloggers to tell about their new Christmas products. We got to smell, look and taste building blocks of the collection.

Like always, everything was pretty:

There were sweet, fresh, bitter and spicy things:

Eyecandy:

Melted snowmen fight against climate change:

Mmmmm, yummy... candycanes.... :

We heard stories behind the products, drank some glögg (the drink, not the shower gel!) , ate ginger breads and almonds and had a good time.

We got to choose ourselves one of the new lip tints. There was delicious Snow Fairy (already have one), luxurious Celebrate and spicy Chili Tingle:

I ended up taking luxurious Celebrate, which tastes like champagne, and makes lips frosty pink:

Celebrate lip tint:

"For pastel pink lips with a hint of gold luster and the taste of champagne. Almond oil softens and moisturizes the lips, and has a hint of cherry flavour."

It's LOVELY frosty golden pink shade, surprisingly pigmented! Maybe it's the frosty look that makes it appear so well on lips:

Other stuff in our goodie bags were:

Australian Igloo sugar scrub:
"Fair Trade sugar polishes and exfoliates away dry wintery skin, while extra virgin coconut oil sinks in to moisturize and soften."
Even the scent is refreshing! I haven't tried it yet, but what I know from my previous sugar scrubs, I'm gonna like this one too.
Sugar scrubs are the best way to scrub your body, the sugar scrubs gently but effectively, and of course they also smell nice :D

Bûche De Noël cleanser:
"A gently exfoliating and nutrient-rich cleanser, suitable for all skin types. A gift for your skin, to keep it soft and fresh the whole season through. Ground almonds polish and brighten skin tone."

It may be hard to believe, but this weird looking thingie actually smells incredibly good! I admit I've been avoiding these because of how they look, but I already fell in love with this.
I washed my face with this, and my skin feels so soft now! It doesn't remove my makeup (I still prefer Fresh Farmacy for that), but for mornings this is perfect!

Northern Lights soap:
"A super, natural vegan soap that smells of a fresh forest. Pine needle oil is used for it's fresh, woody scent and cleansing properties."

Well, maybe the forest doesn't really smell like this :D
The scent is really strong, it reminds me a bit of citrus-scented house cleaning products :3 It's not a bad smell, my husband loved it, for me it was just a bit too intense.

Candy Cane soap:
"Candy Cane Soap is everything you could ever want from a bar of soap. Our perfumer Simon captured the fragrance of a candy cane perfectly using English peppermint oil and the sweet, cherry scent of almond oil."

LOVE.
LOVE.LOVE. LOVE.LOVE. LOVE.
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.
I honestly don't know if I ever have smelled anything this amazing.
I love candy canes, and I like cherries, and I adored Lush's last year's almond soap (Snowcake), and this is them all combined.
This wasn't part of the goodie bag, but once I smelled it, I knew I had to get it. I have used it once in shower, and I'm already stressed that it's limited edition. What do I do when it's sold out?!? I guess I have to buy 100 000 000 soap bars, so I won't run out of this baby!

(I have so much stuff which I should write about, and I just realized I still haven't picked the winner of my giveaway, so sorry about that! I promise to try get it done ASAP.)
