I got myself three new MAC shadows, to my surprise they were all from MAC's Cool Heat -collection (2008).
I already owned Warm Chill, and now I got Solar White, Gulf Stream and Cool Heat:
Solar White
Frosty muted white-gold (frost)
Solar White is beautiful highlighter shade for me, it's warm light white gold with a hint of pink/peach shade:It's almost like MAC Cloudbound and MAC Vanilla pigment made a baby:
Cool Heat
Frosty teal with multi-dimensional pearlized pigments (Frost)
Cool Heat isn't exactly blue, nor it's green. "Frosty teal with multi-dimensional pearlized pigments" says the description, but I wouldn't call it teal either. It's really awesome color, and I've been drooling for this quite a while.
I guess these were the closest "dupes" I own:
Gulf Stream
Frosty mid-tone blue-green with green pearlized pigments (frost)
This was somehow lighter than I expected, I assumed this to be more striking, but this seems to be good pair to Warm Chill, which is also a bit "dull" color. But this isn't exactly green either, it has quite a lot of blueish in it too.
Closest "dupes" I could think of were Sugarpill Midori (they look quite the same in the pot) and UD Flipside (which also looks a bit same in the pot, except much more shinier ):
Here's swatches of them all:
And here's some looks I made with them lately:
